Holy Cross Assistance on Social Service Community (HCASSC) is a Catholic faith-based non-governmental organization under the auspices of the Holy Cross Catholic Congregation. Founded to serve the most vulnerable members of society, HCASSC operates with a deep commitment to human dignity, justice, and compassion.
Established under the guidance of the Holy Cross Catholic Congregation, HCASSC maintains offices in seven countries across West and Southern Africa, with its headquarters in Avenue Hycinth Thiandoum Fandene Thies Region

To provide humanitarian assistance, promote social development, and restore human dignity among refugees, displaced persons, and vulnerable communities across Africa, guided by Catholic social teaching and the spirit of the Holy Cross Congregation.

Timeline
Foundation
HCASSC is established by the Holy Cross Catholic Congregation in Senegal to serve refugees and displaced persons across West Africa.
First Programmes
Launch of the first education and healthcare outreach programmes serving over 500 families in the Dakar region.
Nigeria Branch Opens
Expansion into Nigeria with a national office in Abuja, focusing on refugee assistance and community development.
Regional Growth
New offices inaugurated in Ghana and The Gambia, bringing HCASSC's presence to four West African nations.
Burkina Faso & Guinea-Bissau
HCASSC extends to Burkina Faso and Guinea-Bissau in response to growing humanitarian needs in the Sahel region.
Malawi Office
Southern Africa expansion: HCASSC opens its Malawi office, bringing its network to seven countries.
COVID-19 Emergency Response
HCASSC mobilizes emergency food and hygiene relief across all seven country offices, reaching 10,000+ families.
25,000 Families Milestone
HCASSC marks a decade and a half of service, having assisted over 25,000 families across the African continent.
Continued Growth
Launching new water, sanitation, and women's empowerment programmes across all country offices.
